Zona Glomerulosa (Outer): Mineralocorticoids (Aldosterone) - regulate water and electrolyte (Na+/K+) balance; Zona Fasciculata (Middle): Glucocorticoids (Cortisol) - regulate carbohydrate metabolism, produce anti-inflammatory/immunosuppressive responses; Zona Reticularis (Inner): Secretes small amounts of androgenic steroids.
