Secretes catecholamines: Adrenaline (Epinephrine) and Noradrenaline (Norepinephrine); Known as "Fight or Flight" hormones; Rapidly secreted in response to stress/emergency; increase heartbeat, alertness, pupillary dilation, piloerection (goosebumps), sweating, and breakdown of glycogen.
