Cerebrum: Divided into hemispheres. Cortex has motor, sensory, and association areas (memory, communication); Thalamus: Major coordinating center for sensory and motor signaling; Hypothalamus: Regulates body temperature, thirst, hunger; contains neurosecretory cells that produce releasing/inhibiting hormones.
