Starts during embryonic stage; Oogonia form and arrest at Prophase-I (1° Oocyte); Puberty: 1° follicle matures → Meiosis I completes → 2° Oocyte (n) + 1st Polar body; Meiosis II completes only upon entry of sperm, forming Ovum + 2nd Polar body.
