Plasmodium Life cycle

Requires two hosts; Human (Asexual): Sporozoites (infective stage) enter via bite, multiply in liver cells, rupture RBCs (release toxic hemozoin causing chills); Mosquito (Sexual): Female Anopheles ingests gametocytes, fertilization in gut, sporozoites store in salivary glands.
