Types of Muscles

Skeletal: Striated, voluntary, multinucleated, attached to bones; Smooth (Visceral): Non-striated, involuntary, spindle-shaped, uninucleated, found in hollow internal organs; Cardiac: Striated, involuntary, branched, possesses communication junctions (intercalated discs) for synchronized contraction.
